Audubon is currently seeking a TAR Planner to be part of a project team working onsite at a client's plant in Norco, LA. The TAR Planner will compile information from all departments to produce a comprehensive turnaround work scope.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
- Producing detailed work lists, cost estimates, AFE's schedules and job packages from turnarounds.
- Coordinating service contractors and procuring materials for both capital and maintenance turnaround work.
- Resourcing requirements.
- Safety plans.
- Job steps and procedures.
- Drawings and specifications.
- Material and equipment needs.
- Understanding field resourcing needs and work scope for each job.
- Incorporating reliability best practices in job plans.
- Coordinating planning of multi-craft job plans with other craft planners.
- Updating plans with any approved scope changes.
- Adjusting plans as needed.
- Managing detailed line-item work list and provide routine update to Client.
- Working directly with scheduler to finalize and optimize integrated work activities.
- Compiling turnaround work lists.
- Reviewing all turnaround jobs in the field.
- Developing a step-by-step resource loaded work schedule in Primavera Project Planner (P3) for all turnaround work.
- Producing work packages to issue to contractors including work lists, work scopes, schedules, drawings, blind lists and material lists.
- Scheduling turnaround meetings and distributing revised turnaround work lists.
- Coordinating service contractors for both capital and maintenance turnaround work.
- Procuring materials for both capital and maintenance turnaround work.
- Tracking costs during turnarounds.
- Maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems for all turnaround information.
- Additional duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:
- 5 years of planning or maintenance experience in a refinery or chemical plant required.
- Experience using computer-based planning and scheduling tools required.
- Experience reading engineering drawings, such as plot plans, piping isometrics, and P&IDs required.
- Bachelor's or higher level degree - Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
