Position Description
Provides support to the patient as a direct anesthesia care provider under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist. Works in the main Operating Room by providing anesthesia service for AUMC patients in the OR as a member of the anesthesia care team and also in Out of OR locations such as EP, Endoscopy, IR, MRI, PACU and Angiography Suite, etc. The incumbent will also provide anesthesia services at off-site locations as needed.
Position Requirements
Master's Degree in Nursing, Accredited Anesthesia Educational Program. CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Broad of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). & Age appropriate Advanced Life Support before the start date. CRNA Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Georgia. Must be credentialed and privileged before the start date.

Doctoral Degree: Nursing Practice, Accredited Anesthesia Ed. Program
