Consumer Advocacy
Advocate for employment development to improve independence
Ensure that consumer’s employment goal is clear, well defined, and achievable
Act as a liaison between supervisor, consumer, and employer to appropriately communicate concerns and create successful employment outcomes
Responsibilities :
Provide job-skill training / coaching to help consumers acquire and maintain independent employment
Monitor employment progress by completing assessment activities that determine skill level, and identify existing or new barriers
Complete daily reports and documentation based on observations of work performance, goal progress, job coaching hours, and any additional supportive information
Attend scheduled meetings / trainings and communicate professionally
Protect consumer confidentiality
Comply with all ARA and employment site safety standards
Identify and report work hazards
Other duties as assigned
