We provide comprehensive onboarding, training, and support every day from the minute you join our team, whether as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)!
Offer training and technical support for parents in the areas of developmental disability services and behavioral support. You will acts as a resource to families by supporting the development of each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical skills through guidance, observation, modeling and training.
In this role, you will:
- Receive specialized training to deliver transformative care to children with diverse developmental conditions
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a center-based or home-based setting (paid training provided)
- Teach children with autism, communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting
- Collect data to monitor the progress of the children we support
- Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards
- Communicate clearly and effectively – both orally and written – with clients, families, and colleagues
- Attend meetings and trainings to acquire further knowledge
- Receive daily guidance and mentorship from a team of experts including Pediatric Psychiatrists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- High school diploma (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
- Candidate must be able to lift up to 10 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable source of transportation, and auto insurance
- Must pass a criminal background check (Livescan DOJ & FBI)
- Current TB clearance
