What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Estimator position at Autocraft Hawaii?

Estimator Responsibilities:
- Examine damaged vehicles to determine extent of body, mechanical and interior damage.
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair damage reports. Educate customers in the collision repair process.
- Establish and maintain customer rapport by answering questions and concerns, maintain records of repairs and replacements on the vehicle, manage ordering of parts, track the repair status of customer vehicles, process paperwork with insurance companies.
- Be the liaison between the customer and the body technician, maintain their CSI scores, invoicing and answering phones.
- Other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Auto Body Manager.
Estimator Qualifications:
- Prior collision estimator experience required (Minimum of 3 years)
- Knowledgeable with CCC One estimating software.
- Knowledge of insurance procedures and practices.
- Ability to handle high volumes under pressure.
- Effectively communicate with insurance companies, customers and technicians. Strong organizational and computer skills.
