Backend Software Engineer Co-op

About The Role As a Backend Software Engineer Intern, you will work closely with the Revit Cloud Worksharing team to learn our system, software architecture, and codebase. The team empowers architects and engineers to collaborate as they design scalable and energy efficient buildings. You'll contribute to solving a wide variety of problems by investigating the root causes and developing new features and functionalities, while partnering with product owners to understand customer workflows and needs to identify solutions. This co-op is a 6 month period (July – December)! Responsibilities: Having a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate through Autodesk as a whole. From onboarding to your intern project, your mentor will get you ramped up and ready to make an impact - all while showing you what it means to be at Autodesk! Designing, building, and testing secure and stable code Contributing to improvements in processes and deliverables that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team in responding to customer and business needs. Coordinating change deployment and release testing efforts Minimum Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2024. Strong CS Fundamentals Prior experience collaborating with teams to drive projects Exposure to contributing to meaningful retrospectives to improve engineering practices, team processes, and collaboration Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in an Agile Scrum environment. Knowledge of microservices. Experience with REST APIs. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized base salary between $41,000 and $81,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
