Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial aspects of the company and play a key role in driving the organization's financial strategy.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all day-to-day accounting operations
Develop daily, monthly and quarterly accounting reports for management review
Verifies and posts details of business transactions of funds received and disburses totals to account ledgers
Tracks and manages company credit card charges, expense reports and reconcile statements
Prepares and extracts general ledger information; compiles cost revenue reports and balance sheets, and reconciles bank statements
Monitors and processes accounts payable, and receivables to ensure that payments are up to date. Codes data for input into financial data processing system according to company policies and procedures
Arranges and approves travel plans and itineraries as necessary
Works with administrative staff as needed for inventory of office equipment and supplies
Process and prepare all sales/use tax filings
Manage and review all general ledger adjustments, payroll journal entry
Client contract administration and review
Month-end general ledger responsibilities, various account analysis and ad-hoc reports
Researches, compiles and analyzes internal cost information
Recommends and implements procedures and processes in order to establish an effective accounting department, eliminate redundancy, reduce errors and risk to the company.
Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting
Maintain all company financial records including filing requirements.
Process all commission / bonus plans as directed
Establish and maintain procedures and documentation that support company and departmental standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred OR relevant work experience required
5 -7 years finance / accounting experience required with strong leadership skills
Great Plains accounting software experience required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent teamwork skills
Working knowledge of basic principles related to financial analysis and financial statement preparation
Must have proficiency with MS Office
Strong accounting principles knowledge
