Position Summary 

The Market Launch Manager – Mobility role is a critically important role within AutoNation’s Mobility organization that is charged with implementing and executing new market launch strategy and ongoing support to active stores for our B2C offering. 

You are an advocate for successfully preparing and launching new AutoNation stores and markets to adopt our Mobility offering. You are the liaison between Mobility B2C and the stores and act as the trusted voice of the AutoNation stores & associates, as well as the Mobility B2C customer. You own the overall in-person experience for Mobility B2C customers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that can scale as our fleet and customer base scales. Candidates ideal for this role are tenacious about growth, customer-centric, goal oriented, and have experience building detailed plans with cross-functional internal functions in the automotive industry 

You are a builder that thrives in going from zero to one, you are curious, data-driven, and you have a strong bias for action. You will build programs and processes geared toward improving customer experience, supporting go-to-market efforts, and implementing and optimizing processes. You are a great communicator and work cross-functionally. You are the voice of our stores and customers and will help the B2C Mobility team partners access the AutoNation ecosystem to create the best customer experience as well as build new capabilities where needed. You will support the B2C Mobility community across customer satisfaction, hitting business and operational targets/SLAs, as well as resolving escalations during pre and post launch period. You have experience in the automotive industry and display a high EQ.  

You will influence: 

  • Building & executing a go-to-market launch strategy to prepare AutoNation store associates for the Mobility program 
  • Oversee market/store launch preparedness and provide ongoing support as needed 
  • Create and institute a new market onboarding & training program (virtual and in-person) 
  • Drive adoption of mobility programs and functions in AutoNation stores 
  • Develop launch success metrics and quality assurance standards to measure ongoing launch effectiveness 
  • Provide remote and on-the-ground support pre and post market launch 
  • Oversee implementation of in-store collateral (i.e. kiosks, POS collateral, etc.) 
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled in-store quality visits 
  • Represent the voice of the AutoNation markets, stores & associates as well as the Mobility B2C customer 
  • Provide input to improve product, internal workstreams, customer communications, store operations pertaining to the Mobility B2C program, and SOPs 
  • Create training & operational resources for stores (i.e. training documents, playbooks, job aids, etc.) 
  • Communicate program changes & important updates to active Mobility B2C stores as needed 
  • Manage online repository of AutoNation store resources for Mobility B2C program 
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with AutoNation market leaders, store leadership, associates, corporate office and executive team to foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial relationship the Mobility B2C team within the AutoNation ecosystem 

 

Qualifications (Mandatory): 

  • 3 years of relevant experience working with dealerships (in highly operational and customer-facing roles supported by a history of delivering clear results) 
  • Strong analytical, written and problem-solving skills 
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills  
  • Evidence of successful complex stakeholder management across a variety of functions 
  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well 
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time 

 

(Preferred): 

  • Prior experience in fast-paced/high growth environment with a bias towards responsible scaling 
  • Previous experience developing launch plans, training/onboarding programs or partnership management 
  • Online Learning Management System (LMS) management experience 
  • Knowledge of support, ticketing or case management systems or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Zendesk, Salesforce, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of Dealer Management System (DMS) or DMV software 
  • Previous retail dealership experience
