What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at Autonomic?

Autonomic’s open, cloud-based platform — the Transportation Mobility Cloud – will connect the diverse components of urban mobility systems — connected vehicles, autonomous cars, mass transit, pedestrians, city infrastructure and service providers — with the goal of orchestrating a safer, more efficient and sustainable transportation network.

Autonomic is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Smart Mobility.

The Recruiting Team

We are looking for an innovative, passionate, and highly-motivated Recruiter to help define the way that we recruit talent in Shanghai. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a tech explosion in the automotive industry and make a huge impact on our growing team. This person will partner with hiring managers and the recruiting team to increase candidate pipeline, develop long term pipeline flow, and help hire great talent. 

Job Description

  • Ability to speak and write in Mandarin
  • Review, pre-screen and interview candidates to determine appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule all interviews for the Shanghai team
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand needs, ensuring alignment between job descriptions, and target candidate profiles
  • Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Create meaningful relationships with candidates and deliver the best in class experience throughout the recruiting process
  • Leverage all aspects of sourcing and candidate development including job posting, job board mining, social networking, employee referrals, and networking events
  • Utilize our current sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Hiretual to build healthy pipelines for all high priority roles
  • Continuously research and implement new techniques to engage with passive candidates
  • Track and analyze sourcing data to measure efficacy of current recruiting strategies and implement improvements as needed

Who you are

  • Self-motivated and driven: you look for solutions and impact without being asked twice
  • Fluent in Mandarin
  • You are curious. You look to dig deeper beyond the surface level of a job profile; researching market trends, domain technology and seeking out information to have a solid understanding of the position
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred)
  • 5 years of technical sourcing and or recruiting experience and value how sourcing can influence the inclusion and diversity landscape of a company
  • Proven track record of success sourcing technical talent across multiple engineering disciplines 
  • Experience analyzing data to establish sourcing metrics and measure pipeline success
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in an agile, rapidly changing environment
