Job Title: Human Resource Generalist

Reports To: Controller
Job Summary: This position will run the daily functions of the HR department, including hiring and onboarding staff, administration of benefits and assist with safety training programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interview, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
- Conducts new hire onboarding and benefit enrollment
- Liaison between employee and benefits administrator.
- Performs all administrative duties of HR department, including any policy and/or employee handbook updates, routine compliance filings and employee paperwork requirements.
- Assist management team to improve and manage safety training program.
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of Associates Degree in Human Resources or related field
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in a Human Resource role.
- Knowledgeable about COBRA, FMLA, EEO, Unemployment and other employment-related laws
