What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collections Associate Corp position at AutoZone?
Job Summary: Responsible for collecting and processing accounts receivable
Essential Job Duties:
1. Make collection calls to customers providing needed information/copies/reports to customers to aid in collection efforts.
2. As needed, update and consult with sales managers regarding status of accounts.
3. Send collection letters according to company policy and submit accounts to corporate write off team for collection agency placement.
4. Maintain collection notes in respective systems.
5. Provide reconciliation of unapplied customer payments and communicate findings to the Cash Application Team.
6. Work with customers to reconcile and resolve disputed transactions.
7. Assume other duties as assigned by Manager.
