Job Title: Senior Buyer

Location: Plymouth, Michigan

Work Type: Hybrid

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 Base Plus Generous Benefits Package

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Communicate with purchasing departments to identify suppliers for quotations
  • Control RFQs to select suppliers for assigned OEMs and programs
  • Negotiations with key suppliers
  • Support in Program management for cost reduction strategies and identifying new suppliers
  • Be the primary contact with category purchasing & Engineering to ensure continued alignment on any needs
  • Ensure program commitments and requirements are met


WHAT YOU NEED


  • 4-6 years of buying experience, within Automotive / Electronics ideally
  • Solid understanding of the sourcing process and supplier management
  • In-depth understanding of RFQs, Sourcing, and Negotiations skills.
  • Proficient in the use of programs such as Excel, SAP and Word.
  • Problem-solving supplier issues methods
  • Experience in reading schematics drawings.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, electronic commodities is beneficial

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
