What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Office Assistant position at AV Thomas?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of the shop.
Essential Duties:
· Sorts and files invoices according to vendor.
· Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, PO’s, price checks and inventory.
· Assist with weekly verification of payroll timecards and make the necessary adjustments.
· Ordering parts and supplies as needed for the Maintenance department.
· Other duties as directed by Shop Manager
Qualifications/Key Competencies:
· Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Spanish.
· Ability to communicate effectively with vendors
· Understands filing systems and ensures maintenance of files.
· Ability to work under the supervision of the Shop Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
