Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for a Construction Coordinator to be part of its team in its North American operations.
Detailed Description of Responsibilities :
- Implement building construction projects to support site.
- Coordinates construction scheduling and communication.
- Manage daily construction and RFI support for construction projects.
- Act as liaison between in-field construction and project management.
- May be responsible for estimates, schedules, materials and purchase orders.
- Supervises construction activity in the field.
- Coordinate weekend / shutdown work plans with contractors, facilities, NAMC shops, PC, and PE.
- Have knowledge of general building construction methods.
- Monitor equipment installation methods for confirmation that installation meets specifications and drawings.
- Coordinator RFI's and CCR's
Requirements :
Required Qualifications :
- years of experience in industrial construction projects
- Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods
- Proficient drawing review and field application abilities
- OSHA certification
- Ability to properly manage a construction schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day.
- Ability to ascend & descend stairs to roof or equipment rooms throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant.
- Competent with Microsoft Office : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
Additional Desired Qualifications :
- Associates degree in construction management
- Software experience : AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project
Education Level : Associates / Technical Degree
