25-bed acute care hospital with state-of-the art technology and specialty services serving 30,000 residents.

Provides administrative oversight and direction to clinic services to assure the smooth operation of hospital clinics.
Assist department heads in the preparation of capital and operating budget as well as scopes of service. Provides direction in the utilization of resources.
Communicates routinely with the CEO and CFO regarding policy recommendations and suggested courses of action pertinent to the efficient operations.
Experience you'll need: Strong leadership skills, 5 years minimum of experience in a management position within a hospital/clinic setting, Strong ability to assess and lead professionals, physicians, advance practice practitioners and manage others through influence and collaboration, Knowledge of clinical areas. Good understanding of current regulatory, licensure and accreditation issues, hospital finance and reimbursement background, strategic planning methods and techniques. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in health-related field, Master's Degree preferred.
Area Info: Located on the scenic coast, about 90 minutes from Bangor and Bar Harbor and an hour from Canada. Quaint riverside college town 3.5 hours north of Portland. In the middle of the blueberry belt and a great base it you want to walk, bike, ski or ride a snowmobile or ATV on the Down East Sunrise Trail.
