What are the responsibilities and job description for the DRIVER - (Immediate Hiring) position at Avacend?
We have an opening for a Driver in the Bellevue, WA region and would like to see if you would be interested in the project.
- The project duration is 1 year
- Pay is $21 per hour
- Van is supplied
- Start date would be ASAP
- There will be some overtime, not every week but from time to time so the individual will need to be able and willing to work when needed.
- Some Excel experience is a plus, time is tracked on an Excel spreadsheet.
- You would be driving all day, following a route while our engineers run their RF tests on the towers.
- You would need to be able to pass a background and drug screen, even though recreational use is legal in the region, this would be a disqualifier and I wanted to be upfront about this in respect of your time just in case.
- Arrive at destinations on schedule.
- Fulfill administrative needs if assigned.
- Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
- Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
- Interact with team members professionally at all times.
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
- Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date if asked.
- Dependable and timely
- Able to read maps or follow GPS
