Avalon Honda is hiring sales consultants. Sales consultants are full-time, year round positions eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid vacation.
We have been a fixture in Cape May County for over 35 years and are part of a dealer group that has been operating in South Jersey for 50 years. Successful automotive sales consultants must be:
- Great with people
- Able to handle challenging circumstances
- Persistent
Many successful associates have absolutely no experience in retail sales! Often successful associates have previously run their own business or have been in industries such as real estate or entry level sales positions. However, the primary requirements are:
- Positive attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Hunger for success
- Comfort working with people on what is generally the largest or second largest financial transaction they may make.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating needs
- Identifying the right vehicle
- Demonstrating vehicles
- Managing the sales process.
- The right person for this job should be very comfortable performing substantial customer follow up via phone, text message, and email as per the procedures outlined by management.
Associates degree or higher is preferred but not required. Must be authorized to work in the US. All offers are subject to a background check and drug screening.
Pay will consist of base pay with significant bonus opportunity based on performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Ability to Relocate:
- Cape May Court House, NJ 08210: Relocate before starting work (Required)
