We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Social Oak, Wine & Whiskey Lounge. You will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring the delivery of top-quality food and maintaining a high level of culinary standards.
***This is for evening shift. We open at 4pm daily**
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, ensuring the use of fresh ingredients, proper techniques, and adherence to recipes.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste, consistently striving for excellence in every dish.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Kitchen Hygiene: Enforce strict sanitation and safety standards, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food handling and preparation guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Cook preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
