We are conducting a search for a Clinical Reimbursement Specialist to provide support to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities in Ohio.
We are particularly looking for a candidate with a demonstrated history of successful MDS coordination who is comfortable leading teams towards established goals and corporate standards.

Compensation for this role is very competitive.
Responsibilities :
- Stay abreast of current Medicare and Medicaid regulations, as well as prepare for upcoming changes (PDPM) in a proactive manner.
- Implement corporate directives, and act as an internal resource and support for facility MDS Coordinators and other support staff.
- Conduct educational in services as needed.
- Ensure staff have the necessary tools to efficiently capture and report clinical reimbursement for services rendered.
- Evaluate, sustain, and improve existing MDS procedures and practices where needed.
Qualifications Desired :
- RN licensure preferred, LPNs will also be considered. License must be in good standing, Ohio licensure preferred, ability for reciprocity is a must.
- 3 or more years of MDS Coordinator experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work well with diverse staff and residents.
- Case-mix expertise and ability to provide effective employee training and resource support.
