Receptionist

Avenues Recovery of Covington, LA is an inpatient facility offering a full regimen of detox and extended residential treatment. Truly a one-of-a-kind facility with a one-of-a-kind medical and clinical team.

Primary Focus:

The Receptionist is responsible for general reception. The receptionist will welcome all new clients and visitors to the facility and direct them to appropriate personnel. Responsibilities include answering the phone, taking phone messages, Screening clients and admissions calls quickly and efficiently, verifying benefits, facilitating communication between staff and clients, scheduling appointments for current clients, Providing appropriate orientation to program aspects post admission, including documentation and data input into computer system, maintaining cleanliness of the facility lobby area, and performing special projects as requested.

Required Education

Graduation from High School or GED/Bachelor's Degree

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Required Experience

A minimum of 1-year related experience.

Licensure/Certification

Current and valid state issued driver's License

Valid CPR certification and First Aid
