AVER is seeking a talented DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to be part of a team bringing innovative data as a service (DaaS) solution architecture for a large Federal organization. This organization provides cyber services to a wide base of customers to include every sector of the US economy. We are looking for a Dev Ops Infrastructure Engineer who is comfortable leading and managing the DaaS configuration and management of AWS services. The ideal candidate for this position has technical expertise in cloud-based data platforms. This person is a driven problem solver, and critical thinker who shares a passion for delivering innovative data products that drive the client’s mission.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the VM DaaS DevOps process for Python, web application, and BI development.
- Leads the VM DaaS configuration and management of AWS Services.
- Creates and maintains the docker images, patching, etc. for all OS, software, and AWS services used.
- Manages security groups/networking within the AWS Dev environments and mimic client security when applicable.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Experience Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience DevOps in IT systems and DevOps software ideally AWS CodeCommit and Code Build.
- Linux System administration and using Docker / AWS ECR.
- Infrastructure management (virtual servers, networking, familiar with AWS cloud environment).
- Kubernetes / AWS EKS / AWS Fargate / AWS EC2.
- Database Administration – Oracle / AWS Redshift.
- Experience managing coding language version control /deployments – Python, React Web applications, Tableau.
Desired Requirements:
- Active DHS clearance (EOD)
- Experience working with and advising government clients.
- Experience with GitHub or GitLab
- Skilled in installing any software or any LINUX level patching.
- 3 in data base admin, infrastructure management (virtual servers, networking, familiar AWS cloud environment)

- Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Public Trust)
