Job Summary
- Supervises kitchen food preparation and meal service.
- Coaches and corrects observed food handling or service concerns seeking continual improvement of customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrates and monitors safe and sanitary food service operation achieving compliance with state and federal regulations.
Education and/or Experience
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Graduate of approved Dietary Managers Course, Certified as Dietary Manager preferred.
- Experience in previous health care food service preferred. Basic cooking, basic computer skills; knowledge of therapeutic diets, food handling and sanitation.
- Demonstrates leadership skills.
Work Schedule
- 8:00am-4:30pm, e/3rd call; 80hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $18.25 - $22.25 per hour
