Job Summary Under the direct guidance of the nurse, the Patient Care Tech/PCT is accountable for direct routine patient care activities for patients to promote comfort, maintain or enhance their function abilities and contribute to their overall plan of care.# In addition, they will perform receptionist and clerical duties for nursing service including communication tasks and computer entry. Knowledge of facility procedures, standing orders, phone and paging system is imperative.# Education and/or Experience Due to the operation of certain power equipment, the legal minimum age for this position is at least 18 years old. Previous work experience in a hospital or long term care setting preferred, but not required. Licensure/Certification/Registration Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 6 months of start date and must be maintained. Nursing assistant certification preferred but not required. Work Schedule 7:00am-7:30pm, 7:00pm-7:30am; 72 hours every 2 weeks Weekend rotation: every third Holiday rotation: every other Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
