Job Summary
- Performs duties concerning direct and indirect patient care as assigned.
- Coordinates non-clinical activities of the patient care unit, transcribes physician orders, performs receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains the medical record of all patients on the assigned unit.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
- Medical terminology, computer skills and clerical experience preferred.
Work Schedule
- 7:00pm-11:00pm on unit then 11:00pm-4:00pm in ED, every third weekend, every third holiday, occasional call; 72 hours every 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
