Pharmacy Technician - Retail

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA is opening a new retail pharmacy, and we’re currently hiring for 3 full-time Certified Pharmacy Technicians in our Retail Pharmacy. This position will be days with some evenings and weekends shifts.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:

• The Pharmacy Technician is responsible to assist in drug preparation, drug distribution, drug inventory, and required record keeping under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
• 40 hours a week with 8-hour shifts; days, evenings, and weekends.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Requirements:

• High School graduate. Previous experience as a certified pharmacy technician is preferred. 
• Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee.
