Job Summary
- The Clinical Informaticist works collaboratively with the Informatics team, providers, and clinical users in conjunction with the Information Technology team to plan, develop, test, implement, evaluate, maintain, and optimize clinical applications of the electronic medical record (EMR) and peripheral clinical software.
- The Clinical Informaticist serves as a clinical and technical resource for all supported disciplines and locations to ensure system integrity, evidenced based best practices, quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- The Clinical Informaticist supports the integration of clinical expertise, technical skills, and industry knowledge when supporting the EMR and adjunct clinical software.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Two years of clinical patient care experience is required.
- Clinical Informatics experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota, Minnesota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure is required.
- Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, occas night/wkd/hol/on call; 80hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $28.75 - $43.50 per hour
