Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
- The Registered Nurse in the Med-Surg Unit is accountable for the safe, individualized, efficient, and effective management and delivery of nursing care for hospitalized inpatients and hospital-based outpatients.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Acute hospital setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within one year of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within one year of hire.
Work Schedule
- 6:45am-7:15pm; 8:45pm-07:15am; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- Every third weekend
- Holiday rotation: 2 holidays per year
- Occasional call
