Job Summary
- The Volunteer Coordinator oversees and coordinates all activities of the hospice volunteer program.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served by Avera@Home.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years in a health related preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule
- PRN, as needed
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $18.25 - $22.50 per hour
