Averill Hospitality is seeking a
HR Travel and Housing Coordinator to join our team.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:
Support the Human Resources Department by working as a cultural liaison for our international student employees as well as our local employees in housing by providing excellent communication, resources, and solutions to their needs.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with employee Pre-Arrival and Pre-Departure: Inspect housing for cleanliness, work orders, and stocked items.
- Welcoming Employees: Housing, transportation, orientation, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with acquiring social security cards for our international student employees.
- Plan and execute cultural activities.
- Weekly housing check-ins and inspections
- Work with other department heads regarding maintenance, transportation, and job duties.
- Assist with HR administrative duties.
- Communicate any disciplinary issues to HR Manager.
- Promote and maintain the company’s values and culture.
- Set the example of an engaged employee and promote positivity throughout the company.

- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and cooperate with other departments
- Strong ability in using HRIS systems and MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, etc.)
Supportive Functions
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the Human Resource Manager based upon the particular requirements of the company.
- Participate in industry organizations.
- Attend and participate in recruiting events.
- Maintain an open line of communication between guests, employees, and management.
- Assist in any other duties as needed. This position may be required to perform other and additional duties assigned by the Human Resource Manager.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Fluent in Spanish a plus.
Experience/ Licenses Or Certificates
- 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field.
- Valid driver’s license.
