ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified Engineering Technician to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.Location: Overland Park, Kansas (Hybrid)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform functions requiring knowledge and use of electronic applications, standards, and document control processes/procedures in support of creating or modifying deliverable.
- Provide technical guidance to other engineering technicians.
- Responsible for the development site drainage, grading, utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Microstation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
- Must have experience with Autodesk Civil 3D; Autodesk AutoCAD; Bentley MicroStation 2D/3D; Bluebeam.
- Experience in the appropriate electronic applications and programs required for performing assignments to include but not limited to CADD or other electronic applications.
- Advanced ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of construction & constructability practices & principles.
- Civil 3D experience is required developing complex proposed grading surfaces.
- Knowledge of pipe/pressure networks and profiles are a plus.
- Surveying knowledge or background is also preferable.
