AVIAN is looking for a SharePoint Administrator to join our Corporate Services Team.

Essential Job Functions
- Maintain our SharePoint platform by regularly verifying that all required patches and updates are installed, and security checks are up to date
- Responsible for overseeing system architecture, to include adding, maintaining and/or retiring SharePoint sites/MS Teams as needed to adhere to established framework and storage requirements.
- Add users, control access, and set permissions to various individuals and departments
- Troubleshoot and fix any SharePoint issues or malfunctions through debugging, research, and investigation
- Assist AVIAN help desk with any employee SharePoint question/issues
- Monitor, analyze and report on system usage
- Delete or archive things that are no longer needed to ensure ample disk space
- Regular review, clean-up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites
- When implementing new features or bringing on new employees, educate and train employees on the platform (this includes creating end user training, cheat sheets, manuals, work instructions, etc. that may be needed)
- Recommend changes to configurations, design or location of databases, folder, or sites for better usability
- Create, move, copy, and delete sites, pages, libraries, lists, webparts, etc. when needed
- Create governance and permission policies, procedures, and best practices
- Identify and report governance violations
- General monitoring and maintenance to ensure document management best practices are being followed
- Create, maintain, and modify complex workflows for process improvement and streamlining
- Set up alerts
- Maintain SharePoint integration with other Microsoft 365 applications including Power Automate
- Maintain the meta data term store, web parts, custom fields, custom lists, views, content types, sites and sub-sites, lists, and libraries
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related area
- 5-7 years’ experience with SharePoint Administration
- Extensive knowledge of windows operating systems
- Technical proficiency with Office 365, Power Automate and Teams
- Experience in creating and maintaining SharePoint sites with complex workflows
- Knowledge of JavaScript/JQuery is a plus
