Description:
Avid HealthCare Services is currently seeking an experienced HR consultant who will be responsible for applying human resources expertise. This position is a contract role. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in HR Management or as an HR Consultant with a clear understanding of California laws and regulations. Experience working with staffing, in healthcare or recruiting agencies is a plus.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Formulate strategic and practical plans to address human resource matters
- Ensure the proper communication and interpretation of all HR policies and procedures
- Assist in the development and integration of policies
- Ensures program or section area is in compliance with established policies and procedures and with any relevant federal, state or local legislation
- Review systems and processes and make modifications/ recommendations to address issues
Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- Masters in HR Preferred
- HR Certifications Preferred (SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
- Knowledge of federal, state (California ) and local employment and safety laws and regulations
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills
