Registrar Specialist
Summary:
The Registrar Specialist assists Registration and Student Records in managing the Course Schedule each year; coordinating the attendance and grading periods; communicating with faculty; processing transcripts and registrations for current and former students and works with office staff to ensure the accuracy of student data/information and effectively supports the administrative academic record needs and requirements for Avila University.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule building, transcript request processing, tracking of attendance, missing grades, and missing transcripts, placement of applicable registrar-related holds, student record changes.
- Works with other offices and the Registrar to develop effective practices, processes incoming graduation applications, and supervises student workers.
- Performs other site and position specific functions, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree
- At least 1 year of experience in a higher education registration or financial aid office
- Occasionally requires working irregular hours such as weekends, holidays, or evenings
- Multilingual skills highly preferred
