Immediately hiring! We are now seeking passionate, energetic and motivated people, like you, to join our growing Independent Avis Budget team as a Rental Sales Agent. We’ll help you reach your full potential by developing, encouraging and rewarding you to maximize your earnings in a friendly and empowering sales environment.
You will rent our cars and sell our products and services at our rental counter. This includes processing contracts, listening to and identifying customer needs, upselling our offerings and services to enhance their travel experience while providing excellent customer service.
What you will do:
- Prepare the rental agreement while advising on and up-selling vehicles and optional extras to the customer according to their needs.
- Provide excellent customer service in all customer contact situations.
- Meet all sales and service standards.
- Complete administrative tasks including daily lists to assist the Agency.
- Communicate via telephone and email in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Assist with returning and turnaround of vehicles as needed.
- Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (typing, data entry).
- Professional and engaging personality.
- Flexibility to work all shifts.
- Must be able to sit, stand and type for prolonged periods.
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Prior car rental or retail sales experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus!
Store Hours Monday-Friday 7:30am-6pm, Saturday-Sunday 9am-1pm
Must be available most Saturdays or Sundays to be considered. Would prefer someone living within proximity of Round Rock and with open availability. Punctuality is a must for location/operator.
Starting pay is $18/per hour plus Bonus.
