We are looking for multiple Group Fitness Instructor III on a part-time basis company wide!

We respect your home and family commitments because typical work weeks are only 2 – 3 hours total.

Availability:
- Part-time – very accommodating to your schedule,
- Ability to work Monday – Sunday, hours available vary
- Ability to work a minimum of 2 classes per week
- Ability to work as a substitute a minimum of 2 classes per calendar month
Job Summary:
Prepare and lead group fitness (GX) classes ensuring and reporting on accurate participation rates and safety of members
Accountabilities:
- If choosing to work at multiple locations, maintain ability to travel to chosen locations while maintaining a valid driver’s license and insurance
- Lead no less than two (2) scheduled shifts/classes per week
- Lead no less than two (2) classes per calendar month as a substitute for another Group Fit employee
- Lead no more than three (3) classes per day including any classes lead as a substitute for another Group Fit employee
- Maintain on going education to provide the newest education and training to members
- Report difficult or emotional customer situations
- Timely and accurately report member or self-injury using appropriate forms and communication methods
- Timely and accurately clock in for all work; report all time worked and expenses
- Performs administrative duties upon class cancellation such as cleaning mirrors, re-racking weights, checking and refilling paper towel dispensers, sweep floors, discard rubbish, wipe down tanning or hydro-beds, or other similar tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with members, coworkers and supervisor verbally and in writing
- Follows all health and safety requirements such as, but not limited to, physical distancing, regular surface cleaning, cough/sneeze etiquette, regular hand washing, and not coming to work when sick
- Promptly and thoroughly reviews all requested health and safety training provided, asking questions for any topic not clearly understood
- Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Maintains a regular and predictable attendance
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ten years of experience in leading fitness classes
- Current CPR/AED/FIRST AID Certification (within 60 days of employment and company paid)
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to develop new class routines
- Proficiency and honesty in time keeping
- Expense reporting and member tracking
- Ability to adhere to all departmental and company guidelines and processes
