A leading medical institution is seeking an Admin Officer. The successful candidate will use professional concepts to apply organization policies and procedures to oversee a variety of ongoing administrative operational issues. The ideal candidate has APEX knowledge.
Admin Officer Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $23/hr
- Worksite: Leading medical institution (San Francisco, CA 94158)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 4 Month Assignment
Admin Officer Responsibilities:
- Support the medical teams with scheduling and coordinating medical rounds.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support the care team.
- Gather and analyze financial and other resource data and trends; prepare reports or analyses of operational activities, evaluate current and proposed services, etc.
- Conduct trend analyses and help develop resulting recommendations.
- May manage and coordinate projects.
- Analyze data and trends of quality metrics and drivers.
- Design proposals for the identified problems from the analyzed data .
- Present data and analysis to medical and nursing leadership.
- Administer a defined operational program or activities which may include some of the following functions: finance, facilities, payroll, space planning, student services, human resources, communications, informational technology or safety.
- Provide Training to colleagues and staff.
- Participate in the development and revision of standard operating procedures and guidelines.
- Provide guidance to supervisors and managers in developing job descriptions, facilitating benefits communications, and providing guidance on compensation programs, personnel policies, and procedures.
- Assess and recommend changes to maintain compliance with federal and state requirements and internal policies.
Admin Officer Qualifications:
- 2 - 3 years of related administrative or operational support or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 1 years of experience analyzing and translating data to metrics, dashboards, and presentations is preferred.
- 1 years of project coordination and administration experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Academic medical center experience is preferred.
- Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff verbally and in writing.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
- Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- APEX knowledge.
- The ability to professionally interact with families and patients.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite and standard UC business systems.
