JOB SUMMARY
Performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate or equivalent
- CRCST Certification - Certified Registered Central Service Technician or obtained within six months of hire.
PREFERRED
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience cleaning and sterilizing instruments
- Previous experience working in a healthcare facility working in the Sterile Prep Department.
