Pricing Manager This is a great job for someone who has data analysis experience and who is keen to come in and hit the ground running on our regional pricing team. The regional SME pricing team is predominantly based in Perth, with time split between the office and working from home. One half of the team is responsible for reviewing and changing prices for Commercial Motor, Property and Liability business, and the other half is focussed on the development of analytical tools. This role could fit into either part of the team, depending on the successful candidate. We are looking for a pricing manager to join the leadership team in the development and implementation of technical and street pricing strategies for regional SME Commercial products. The right candidate will have great attention to detail and will be keen to make a difference. A bit about the job: Working within a team of pricing experts, the role will be responsible for delivering accurate technical and street pricing on commercial lines of business and for developing and enhancing the analytical framework that supports this. This will require working innovatively within the team to deliver market leading performance in our Commercial Lines products. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of live pricing ensuring that it is accurate and robust and making pricing recommendations based on commercial / market feedback, and the day to day management of one to three analysts. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Highly numerate with extensive experience of analytical tools and techniques. Strong PC skills including expertise in Microsoft Office and coding in R. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinking with the ability to lead, challenge and influence business decisions. Experience of pricing within the insurance industry.
