INDUSTRY:
The solar industry worldwide is expected to grow by 4x from $52B in 2018 to $223B in 2026 (alliedmarketresearch.com1/2021). With incentives increasing and the cost of solar power decreasing, the solar power industry is growing rapidly. Keeping up with demand is exciting and provides immense opportunity. We are in need of good people to help communicate the benefit of solar to residential prospects on preset appointments.

This position reports to our Richmond Regional Manager.
In broad terms, a Market Manager with Avolta is responsible for the following:
- Manage canvassing operations in Richmond in an effort to generate solar appointments.
- Interview candidates screened by our corporate recruiting team.
- Provide field training with new and active representatives who have completed training with our corporate training team.
- Performance management to key performance metrics with the assistance of our proprietary CRM.
- Coordinate the distribution of appointments with our corporate operations team.
The average annual compensation for a first-year manager is $70,000 ($40,000 guaranteed), but for our top performers, the earning potential is significantly higher. This position primarily works Monday through Friday 9 AM - 5 PM. We have advancement opportunities constantly opening as we continue to grow, and are always looking first to promote from within.
ABOUT YOU:
You have experience prospecting in a B2C and/or B2B environment. The majority of our managers have worked in hospitality, retail, or canvassing positions. Our marketing teams do not sell products, enter homes, or take payment from customers so background in sales isn’t necessary. We provide an extensive training program, but management experience is helpful.
