Exciting opportunity for Nurses - LPNs/RNs to join our team at Avon Nursing Home located in Avon , NY.
Avon Nursing Home has openings on our Evening shift for RNs and LPNs to work our exceptionally creative shift of 4pm - 9pm. This shift allows the potential employee to better work around their busy home lives and still be home early.
Only a short drive to a scenic location - 13 minutes from Lima, 15 minutes from Henrietta and Rush, 16 min from Honeoye Falls , 25 min from Bloomfield and Churchville, 27 min from Mt Morris, 30 min from Gates and Dansville!
As a part of Hurlbut Care Communities, Avon Nursing Home is a 40-bed skilled nursing facility that has been owned and operated locally in upstate NY .
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide basic resident care or treatments, such as, but not limited to taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, and performing catheterizations.
- Administer prescribed medications, noting times and amounts on residents' charts.
- Observe residents: chart and report changes in residents' conditions, such as response to medication or treatment. Answer residents' call lights and determine how to assist them.
- Measure and record residents' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration
- Provide kind and compassionate care to our residents
- RNs - Assessments
- Clinical oversight with a team approach
