    Qualifications: Proper Connecticut teacher certification (047) required

    Responsibilities: Teaching responsibilities include Principals of Engineering, Architectural Design, and Engineering Drafting and Design. Develop and implement lessons that are rich in Common Core Standards, connected to course curriculum, and emphasize 21st century learning skills. Evaluate, promote, and use existing and emerging technologies to support teaching and learning, and provide access to a variety of technology media. Support the development of a 9-12 technology education / engineering curriculum.

    Terms of Employment: Start date 8/17/2023 for new teacher orientation. Salary and benefits in accordance with Agreement Between The Board of Education And The Avon Education Association.

    • Three signed letters of reference from current or former employers and professional contacts uploaded as part of the application materials (Please limit reference letters to three letters written within the past year.)
