Job Description:
The Graphic Design Specialist will create communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets, datasheets, logos, or other promotional products. Researches and develops content for publication of products. Prepares presentations and/or marketing copy geared towards employees, customers, and the public as well as assists with the design & maintenance of corporate website and social media platforms.Reports To:
Manager, Corporate PR, Media, & CommunicationsDuties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain company product catalogs and Datasheets (Design, Create, Publish, Update, etc)
- Design & Develop Corporate and Product Videos for both internal / external stakeholders
- Serve as contributor in developing leadership content and marketing copy for assigned projects in support of company brand awareness and lead generation.
- Developing clear, convincing content that encourages audiences to engage with Kyocera AVX and build Kyocera AVX’s reputation as a leader in the passive components & interconnect solutions industry.
- Create long & short term content for such mediums as emails, infographics, landing pages, webinars, PowerPoints, social media and more.
- Building & publishing various webpages and web content to promote Kyocera AVX and assisting with the management of new product announcements and company e-newsletter.
- Working collaboratively with the product marketing groups and engineering teams to effectively promote the Kyocera AVX brand and products.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field is preferred, or an Associates degree with relevant work experience.
- Strong writing skills, media savvy; excellent public relations skills, with evidence of ability to work and communicate with diverse people to ensure effective internal and external relationships.
- Ability to create & customize graphics/videos using Adobe Suite Software.
- Efficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills via face-to-face, email & phone.
- Highly motivated, innovative, organized, accurate, and detail-oriented with ability to coordinate program activities and manage multiple projects.
- Must be able to provide portfolio or website that properly highlights skill level in digital design.
