About the Opportunity : Job Title : Assembler Pay : $19 / Hour Location : Minneapolis, MN Schedule : 1st Shift, Mon-Fri, 6AM-2 : 30PM or 7AM-3 : 30PM, or Mon-Thurs, 5AM-3 : 30PM, or Tues-Fri, 5AM-3 : 30PM, O / T may be required-client will advise. Daily functions :

• Candidate must have a strong work ethic.
• A good candidate is reliable and willing to show up on time for work daily.
• Willing to bring creativity and a good attitude to work.
• Understands how critical they are to the team.
• Can complete tasks and work in an organized manner.
• Must be able to stand on your feet and work most of the day.

Desired qualifications :

• The ability to use basic hand tools is a plus.
• Power drills are used to drill steel and tap threads.
• Hydraulic hole punches to punch holes in steel boxes.
• Ratchets, screwdrivers, wrenches, allen wrenches, etc.
• Ability to measure accurately using tape measure, adjustable square, and digital calipers.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions is a plus.
• Previous assembly experience required.
• Ability to read and understand bills of material, layout drawings and job notes and to apply to assemblies.
• Any previous training or job experience doing automated controls assembly is a plus.

Physical requirements :

• Lifting 50lbs
• Sitting or standing for long durations of time
