Job Description: Position: Human Resources Generalist Reporting to: Director of Human Resources Location: Bentonville, AR Art and Wellness Enterprises (AWE) is seeking a skilled, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as Human Resources Generalist. AWE supports operating non-profits founded by Alice Walton including the Alice L. Walton Foundation, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, Art Bridges, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Momentary, and Whole Health Institute. About the Position As a Human Resources Generalist, you will join a top-notch team and help deliver the company’s mission by supporting all employees in their workplace experience. This role involves interacting with employees at all levels throughout the ecosystem, implementing HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive HR support across various functional areas. What you will do Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives. Help to develop playbooks with standardized approaches for use throughout the ecosystem to drive efficiency and ensure consistent positive experiences for associates Help develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process. Manage employee offboarding process, including exit interviews. Track and maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and other HR-related documentation Effectively collaborate with management and entity specific HR teams to maximize performance by anticipating problems, advising of risks associated with current business practices and recommending improvements Responds to human resources related questions and issues from managers and employees (e.g., performance, discipline, termination, etc.) to ensure accurate and consistent interpretation and application of policies and procedures Apply decision making and risk management across all company projects and initiatives to ensure employee retention, engagement, and efficiency in operations Help to create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees. Assist in the implementation and administration of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans Support employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing employee events, recognition programs, and surveys Managing compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and company policies and procedures by keeping current on laws and regulations related to general human resource practices and regulations related to licensure and certification; implementing and monitoring HR compliance; implementing action plans to improve performance and reduce instances of non-compliance; and directing management teams in ensuring confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records Other duties as assigned Professional Experience/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
