What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipefitters (Kilgore, TX) position at AWG, Inc.?

AtWork Personnel is now hiring Pipe Fitters for a fabrication facility in Kilgore, Texas.

Hours: 5 am-5 pm
Pay Rate: $17-$20 Based on Experience

Responsibilities/Job duties:
  • Laying, fitting and bonding pipes.
  • Read and interpret pipe construction schematic to layout structure.
  • Install and repair pipe according to set plans and codes.
  • Ensure welding equipment is in working conditions.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge or welding techniques.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and isometric pipe drawings.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Must be able to pass a welding test.
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts.
