Principle Responsibilities
· Open Invitation’s to Bid in QuickBase System
· Coordinate with Estimating and Sales on getting pricing
· Prepare proposals
· Follow-up on outstanding quotes
· Research databases for opportunities to bid
· Ensure customer’s expectations are met
· Promote company values and principles
· Architect data entry
Duties: Specific to each area of responsibility
Quoting
· Open quotes with all relevant information necessary allowing Estimating to provide accurate pricing.
· Ensure all drawings and addendums are current to aid in accurate pricing estimations.
· Prepare a price proposal specific to the customer we are quoting and ensure that it is delivered to the customer via their expectations.
· Ensure bid deadlines are always met or exceeded.
· Provide large account bid package preparation assistance for Outside Sales when necessary.
Customers
· Provide excellent customer service
· Follow-up with customers on open quotes
Other
· Maintain at all times up-to-date information in our QuickBase database.
· Consistently keep QuickBase and Architect database within QuickBase information pertaining to customers, opportunities, quotes and jobs up to date.
· Research and find opportunities to quote via Bid Clerk and other databases.
