What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Water Jet Operator position at Awning Innovations?
Awning Innovations is currently hiring for a Waterjet Operator. This position reports to the Route floor manager and is an integral piece in the job processing pipeline. Anyone with an aptitude for detailed work and a strong work ethic can perform these responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Interpreting engineering drawings for machine setup
- Performing machine calibrations per-job
- Fixturing and securing material
- Training in machine operation and maintenance
- Understanding machine routing files
- Working with CAD Engineers in office to successfully manufacture product
- Maintaining machine and work area cleanliness
Skills Preferred:
- Machine tool experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing services industry
- Understanding of normal machine tool tolerancing and secondary operations
Compensation will be evaluated depending on experience and knowledge!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
