Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager is a high value team leader in the sales organization and strategic partner to the operations, HR, and finance organizations. This role will oversee all aspects of sales and sales management, including go-to market strategy, growth planning, sales execution, quota setting, and field enablement. In short, direct responsibility for attainment of the revenue and profit goals of a defined geographic area. In addition to sales results, the role will require direct collaboration with the VP of Sales and Sales Leaders to drive performance. More specifically, the job will entail developing and building a sales team inclusive of account managers and inside sales resources to efficiently meet and exceed objectives.
Qualifications
- 5 years of business or sales experience with demonstrated customer service acumen
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
- Results-oriented leader with excellent business vision and strategic thinking and a proven track record of solving complex problems, thinking creatively and successfully drawing the larger business story out of facts and data
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams in a fast-paced environment and to inspire rapid adoption of change in a complex matrixed organization with distributed virtual teams. Ability to prioritize & handle multiple requests concurrently and consistently deliver superior results in a timely fashion
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations. Excellent verbal & written communication skills with demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts and analyses in an accessible and compelling way.
- Cultivating strong and mutually respectful relationships across the organization and partner with Sales leadership to solve complex problems and identify productivity improvement opportunities
- Availability to work and travel within the assigned territory 50% of the time
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
