Primary Responsibilities
The IT Project Specialist role reports to the Global PMO Manager. The ideal candidate will have dual responsibilities for the PMO and project management. They will coordinate all PMO activities such as, project status reporting, maintaining ServiceNow, and ensuring the project portfolio is accurate and up to date. As a IT project specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, defining requirements for building technology solutions to business opportunities and driving projects to successful completion. The candidate will be responsible in creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications and be able to work within a team structure of Business SMEs and technical resources.
- Work with business subject matter experts on building requirements documents.
- Work with technical resources to interpret requirements into technical documents.
- Act as liaison between business partners and the technical team.
- Maintain project statuses.
- Work within the PMO structure and enforce project management methodologies.
- Lead within a project team structure.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
