What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Technician position at Axalta?
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with Area jobber reps and Regional Managers to generate pull through demand from end users.
- Sales Tech I will be primarily focused on C/D body shops and Sales Tech II will be primarily focused on A/B and MSO body shops.
- Build and develop relationships with decision makers, engaging with key stakeholders to sell value and answer technical questions to drive greater wins.
- Engage with end users to actively demonstrate products and promote solutions-selling to provide the “perfect fit.”
- Qualify end users, identify pain points, and proactively develop opportunities for growing U-POL sales.
- Oversee execution of product delivery and provide ongoing technical support; leverage internal resources as needed.
- Track weekly activities.
Support Key and Regional Manager Selling Process
- Support Zone and Key Accounts Manager on developing account plans, providing critical end user information and focusing on objectives and activities to sell into body shops.
- Support Key Accounts program with product demos as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years in B2B sales environment / technical sales role in the automotive PBE industry
- Interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships and rapport across a wide range of customer stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Familiarity in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications
- Travel Requirements: 60-70%
